REGIONAL CONSTRUCTION & DESIGN, INC. and its owners, Larry and Michael Shaheen, have been involved in general contracting since before 1980. Regional was known primarily for its work in the southeast and midwest, and in 1985, the Shaheens decided to expand the operation and brought the offices to Charlotte, North Carolina. They later formed Regional Construction & Design, Inc. as well as its sister company, Regional Development, L.L.C. In 1987, the incorporation of Northfield Investments, Inc. took place. Northfield's addition to the Regional family was purposed to allow owning and managing various preleased Industrial/Commercial buildings that would be constructed on a preleased basis within the southeast region of the United States. Regional Construction & Design, Inc. has a staff of ten and Regional Construction has a management team with over 75 years of construction expertise to draw upon. Their focus is on handling all phases of construction services and development for their clients from site planning, construction drawings, acquisition, preparation of documents, and implementation in the field.
